Port City Hearing offers in-office ear wax removal for just $15 per ear. If you purchase hearing aids from us, the cost of the removal will be waived.
Your ears naturally produce ear wax (cerumen) that protects against infections and keeps debris out of the ear. Under normal circumstances, your body keeps the production of ear wax under control, so there should never be a buildup, but if earwax builds up too much, it can cause pain, dizziness or problems hearing clearly. Improper use of cotton swabs, ear plugs, or even hearing aids can cause ear wax blockages.
As part of any evaluation, a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Port City Hearing will take a look inside your ear canal and assess any ear wax buildup.
